Reception

New
In 2009 a new Visitor Reception facility will open at the rear of the Carriage Factory in a structure added to the building in 2008. This will house a visitor reception area, gift shop, washrooms, office and storage space for summer staff, thus freeing up space in the main building for the more adequate display of exhibits.
The 2008 addition is roughly the size and shape of one joined to the Campbell Carriage Factory in 1905. The Trust was able to rescue a 200 year-old timber frame structure from Smith's Creek, outside of Sussex, N.B. This building was carefully disassembled, piece by piece, and all parts cleaned and prepared for reuse in the new Visitor Reception addition.
Completed
