![]() Thomas Pickard House 90 York Street, Sackville, N.B. |
The front part of the house was built as early as 1854 in the Greek Revival style by John Wesley Bowser who acquired the site from his father. Over the years major changes and additions were made to the early house creating the residence that we see today. Subsequent occupants include Thomas Pickard, college mathematics teacher and farmer; his son, Charles Pickard, prominent local merchant and businessman; and Doctor Charles Gass who practised medicine in Sackville from 1919 to 1952. |
